Welcome
My name is Alexandra Lloyd and I graduated from Parsons the New School for Design with a BFA in Fashion design in 2013 I then graduated from a law conversion degree from BPP, followed by an LL.M from the University of Fribourg.
An LL.m in international business law and compliance, with common and civil law familiarity, I’m now working as a compliance and risk manager in an international crypto-services provider, focusing on AML, travel rule, data privacy and other relevant areas of compliance. I have a career history as a Production & Operations manger specialising in sustainable fashion and luxury, and a Fashion Designer, so understand a business and design mindset with a focus on problem solving. I chose to focus on law because of the significance that its interpretation has in shaping company policy and planning; as someone who enjoys strategising and problem-solving, this appealed to me.
I have a keen interest in Fintech developments, Sustainability, novel data management techniques, as well as blockchain solutions, anti-money-laundering legislation, corporate governance and supply chain management. Currently my focus is on Risk management, and particularly compliance with MICAr and other antimony laundering regulations from the perspective of a registered VASP/CASP.
I’m a commercially aware and adaptable worker with extensive experience of research and analysis, sustainable production, negotiation, and management of staff and resources. I’m also Trilingual in English, French and Italian, with a solid understanding of German and very basic Russian and Farsi. The capacity to learn, absorb and process new skills and information and quickly adapt them to the task at hand has always been key to my positions. In-depth experience in international business allows an understanding of the drivers behind corporate decisions and growth, with aptitude particularly for analysis.
I have adaptable skillsets that have informed work and research across several diverse fields, from work in risk and market analysis for Oil & Gas, to consulting and production of content for sustainability, fashion and travel businesses. Experienced in administrative work and event coordination, I have also been an EA for HNWIs, and worked with Superyachts.
With my fashion expertise in Bespoke Md high end, sustainable production, I have experience in Pattern-making, Illustration, Textile and Print design, Graphic Design and Photography. I have worked on exclusive collaborations including Liberty, Goodwood and Tatler.
I have won scholarships and prizes of excellence in both Arts and Academics at every level of education from secondary through to higher education, and am always looking to work in a dynamic and creative environment on new projects. A Sailing expert who loves skiing and travelling, I am open to hearing about interesting opportunities and industry insights.
Though English, I live and work between Lausanne and Zurich, and am fluent in French and Italian. I also speak some russian and German. I hope you enjoy my work.
